It's great and we love it! The only complaint I have is that the wood can be a little loose and you have to make sure not to rub up against it or rub your hand up and down you may cut yourself.

The cabinet is much darker than I expected and the doors don't shut properly at all. The top doors won't close unless you shut them together and the bottom ones are crooked. The bottom left is so high it's hitting the drawer and the bottom right is so low it barely hits the magnet to keep shut so it pops open all the time. This also requires you to build the drawer from scratch and even doing that I ensured it was all the way up tight to the shelf and the bottom left cabinet still hits the bottom of the drawer and scrapes it. There is no fixing this because the cabinet hinges come pre-drilled from the factory so now I can't adjust them the little they need without making gaping holes the screws won’t sit right again. I'd like my money back or a replacement!!

The cabinet a nice aesthetic but it's hard to build and a lot of the components don't align evenly. The doors don't close easily and the drawer sticks. The screws for the drawer hardware were the wrong length.

I realize this is not an *** piece or *** price, however pieces were cut out of square making assembly a nightmare. They indicated the tools needed were a Phillips head screw driver and a level. After hours of trying to solve numerous problems of pieces cut wrong and out of square and holes that were not drilled I needed a circular saw, drill, screws and brackets because I had to eliminate the several screw locks to get the top to fit. The drawer screws split the drawer wood in several places. The fit of both sets of doors were way off I guess in true barnyard style. It's a shame that it has so many structural issues because it has a nice look. Know what to expect from the item reviews if you decide to purchase.

I really like this piece and the color! However, the craftsmanship is shotty. The drawer sticks on one side, the left lower cabinet doesn't close because it's too small, and the top cabinet doors stick and are hard to shut.

I ordered this pantry for my kitchen. It arrived just as they said it would...in two boxes. We got to step two in the instructions and realized that one of the boards was off its square ever so slightly, causing problems assembling the rest of the pieces. I immediately messages Great Offer Stock, asking for replacement parts. They were incredibly responsive! This piece uses cam screws and locks. Once in place, it is near to impossible to remove them without damaging the wood. The representative said they could replace the defective part (which was only one) or we'd have to send the whole thing back. We could not disassemble the pieces already put back together due to the cam lock situation. Therefore, I requested a parts replacement for all of the parts in steps 1 and 2 in the assembly instructions. I sent pictures to show them the problem at their request. After a few days, I received an email notifying me that they determined they would replace the entire pantry and I would not have to send back the old one! I was very happy with this resolution. The new pieces arrived, again in two boxes. Before getting started I took an inventory of each and every piece because the box containing all of the screws had come apart and they were everywhere inside the box. I realized that there were only 2 part F (you need 3) and there were 2 part H (you need only 1). So, again, I contact customer service and again they were incredibly responsive. They agreed to send me another part F. All this time, about two weeks in total, 172 pieces x2 lay around my house. Of course it was an inconvenience. But Great Offer Stock handled the situation quickly and responsibly. Overall, the quality of the item is pretty good (aside from the packaging and the one faulty part) and the finished product is working out great in our home. It is spacious and has afforded us a little more storage in our small kitchen.

Love the coloring of the wood. It's very rustic & construction seems very well. Matches our new home.

We got this in Dec. 2015, and are satisfied so far. If you're not experienced with putting things together this might be a bit of a challenge, but I've put a lot of 'kit' stuff together over the years, ranging from small items like an Ikea bathroom cabinet up to bigger stuff like a pull-behind DR lawn vacuum and a Suncast backyard shed, so this wasn't so bad. The only problem I had with holes not being in the right place was with the holes for the middle drawer handles, and that wasn't very hard to fix. The unit looks nice and rustic, which fits right in (we live in a 100-year-old farmhouse), and provides some extra kitchen storage. You need to pay attention to the assembly instructions -- I installed one of the back crossbars backwards, and didn't realize it until the pantry was almost completely assembled. So I didn't back up and fix it; functionality wasn't affected and nobody will see it. Not a big deal. That was my fault, of course; I'm just saying to pay close attention to what you're doing. The unit could have been packaged a little better, as the finish suffered dings in a few places due to being shipped from overseas I suppose; not a huge negative though.

It took me about 2 hours to assemble. It is not hard and the reason that it took me so long is because the hardware didn't fit and I spent most of the time to make it fit. It ended up the door knob screw is not long enough to hold the knob, the top left side door is about 1/4 inch too wide to close, drawer is about half inch push in too much that make the lower doors seem hang out too much, drawer handle and door knobs are lose, it is wobbly no matter how you try to secure it with extra screws...... The overall looking is good if you do not look very closely or touch it or use it.

I love it, the assembly was tricky. It took us about 2 hours. Absolutely worth it! Great storage.

Love the look but after putting it together discovered a little note saying it has formaldehyde it in which is dangerous to human health. So, always check what your furniture is may of before purchasing. Too heavy to send back so will store in garage...a waste~~~~

I liked the look of this piece and found it when I decided on getting the matching barnside kitchen island. The price is good for what it is. It's solid woods (I think a soft wood like rubberwood or something). I am more than familiar with putting "needs assembly" furniture together so I went ahead and ordered it. The shipping was super fast. The piece comes in two boxes and I took everything out before beginning assembly to make sure it was all there. As a PSA I will now tell you what you need to know if you decide to purchase this piece: 1. There are 4 screws for the magnet pieces. They are mixed up with the other tiny screws and the difference is that they are a dark brown vs. black (you need a good eye to sort them out). 2. When putting on pieces E & F (they are the back stabilizers) be sure to put the sides with the pilot holes facing on the outer side because at the end that is where you put the screws in. I did not realize this and put all of my pieces the wrong way. Not a big deal to me because I just put the screws on the inside of the cabinet instead of the back outside. (and there was no way in h.e.doublehockeysticks that I was going to take off pieces just to put those pieces on the right way). 3. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT CON ABOUT THIS PIECE. The bottom piece could be used by itself. The top part is similar to a hutch on a desk. UNFORTUNATELY the top piece of the bottom part HAS NO HOLES drilled for the cam screws. I noticed it right away when putting the thing together. I had to take the two dowels out of the top to put the top part on the bottom part. I have decided not to drill holes for the cam screws because all of the other cam screw holes are drilled and they have a plastic/rubber insert to make the cam screws sit securely. If I drill holes (even if I would be lucky enough to get the holes drilled in the right place) I am afraid I'll mess up the piece. I've decided that I will use L brackets on the inside to secure the top piece to the bottom. I haven't put the doors on yet so I'm hoping I have no problem getting those to fit perfectly. I put it together by myself (43 yo F) and it took me about 3 hours doing it somewhat leisurely.

I paid a PROFESSIONAL Handyman to assemble this pantry and it took him FOUR hours to do so and he had to drill new holes, use his own screws, and flip doors opposite of the instructions. Even after all that the pantry was wobbly. It's like the top part was disconnected from the bottom part. He had to add his own wood to tighten up the space between the top and bottom part. I know this product was made in China but for $$$ it should be better constructed!! Especially for real wood!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!
