I'm on the fence. I bought the ivory color and it has no sheen or depth to it. Zero. They are dull in the light in my bedroom. They are well made and weighted with a heavier cotton lining. I went with these because I thought they'd be less formal than the silk ones, but wish I'd bought the silk ones on sale. They were in my basket, but I flipped at the last minute. Not sure if I'll return them or not. Pluses are they have a better insulation value than the silk ones and the sun through them makes them richer, but they are open in the day so that doesn't matter. Pulled to the side they are grey/tan and look meh with my yellow cream walls, though they could work. I bought them to replace biscotti silk ones I bought here years ago, which I love, but they are too short with my new rods. Plus, I washed those when they got old and they became dull and shrunk unevenly, though they still have more sheen than these. From a few feet away, these could be canvas, and it's a lot of money to pay for drapes that look like canvas. I'm tired of paper on my windows, though. I know the biscotti would work again, but I'd like to go with something different... BTW, I did buy and return the extra wide polyester curtains and they were more beige/tan than these. Still, these are definitely duller than cream, which is the lining color. Hm. Sounds like I've made my decision. Darn. I'm so bored with this search!
