This 6x9 olive Sakura Branch wool rug is beautifully made, dense, plush, and finely crafted. The price, on sale, was fantastic. However, the stylish yellow flowers shown in the online photos have not a hint of yellow but are merely a blah beige. If I want yellow flowers I'll have to get fabric markers and put in several hours of careful artistry, just to transform the flowers on half the branches. If you like green and beige, then no problem, but I wanted green and yellow, just like the picture. Furthermore, the rug stinks. The smell permeated the entire house but is less pronounced now, two days later. It is amazing that there are no apparent mildew stains because clearly the rug was stored in a warehouse basement for too long or else it was dipped in dead fish water. Fortunately, we have three windows open in the dining room where it lay, and I happened to have a full bottle of Febreze to dispense upon it, though the rug is at least another bottle of Febreze away from being able to have a dinner party.
