Wonderful Knives, HORRIBLE Packaging!
I purchased these knives after having one of my plastic handled steak-knives break in my hand when cutting fruit. I came centimeters from cutting myself during that incident, and decided at that point that I would be much more comfortable with single-shank knives. I had a hard time finding a set that got positive reviews and were at a price point I could afford. These knives hit both marks. I was very concerned when they arrived. They were packaged in a very cheap plastic box that was already beat up. Most of the knives had come free from their placements and were rattling around together at the bottom of the box. If I had purchased these as a gift for someone, I would have been mortified. Definite Recommendation: If purchasing as a gift, please open before-hand and find some cute way to display/package these outside of their factory packaging. Otherwise they'll look like Walmart clearance. Once I removed them from the packaging, I began feeling much better. They're beautiful knives. VERY sharp, have a nice weight, and don't seem to hold fingerprints as badly as I was expecting. They're dishwater safe, but I hand-wash only so as to keep them in the best possible shape. They're so smooth that they wash in a jiffy, so it's no big deal. Very, very good value for a beautiful set of knives!

Henckels International 8 pc ss Steak Knife Set
These are excellent knives. I love the one piece construction. Believe it or not but many stainless steel knives are not dishwasher safe so when I found these and they were and also were one piece construction I ordered them. They are a nice weight and the slanted design adds a great look on my table. Thank you OS.

After two years, these knives are still perfect!
I thought long and hard about whether or not to purchase these knives, as I had found some mixed reviews online, both here and at ******. However, I really liked the fact that they are all one solid piece, and the price was better here at Great Offer Stock, and so I took the plunge. Two years on, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. They still look brand new, and cut perfectly. I just wish that they were about 15% larger, as the size is so different from the rest of my silverware. Nevertheless, it's a great product; I'd buy these knives again if I needed more!

Great knives
I always buy Henckels or Wustoff knives but was afraid of this set ecause it was so inexpensive. I love them. They feel good in your hand, are serrated, and because they are all metal, you don't have to worry about the handle discoloring or anything. They look good too!

These knives are of superior quality and exactly what I wanted. They are very sharp but they don’t look like a typical steak knife. So many steak knives look like a butcher’s knife but these are very sheik without being too pretentious. I do have to say that the packaging is not made very well. The knives do not stay in their correct place in this bad plastic case. I tried to pull the package of the same knives at another store down and as soon as I touched all the knives came out and fell on top of me. So I do fault them for bad/dangerous packaging.

Henckels is a name that represents quality and is NOT from China. Henckels uses high carbon stainless steel which is a better grade of stainless. Finally, I have had several sets of knives and steak knives (very good brands) that have snapped off at the handle after only a few years of use. Problem is due to rust accumulating under the handle-moisture gets trapped there during washing. These knives won't have that problem.
