Haier ESAQ406P Serenity Series 6,050 BTU 115V Window Air Conditioner with LED Remote Control with Mail-in Rebate

I bought this Haier unit because I wanted an air conditioner that wasn’t so loud. It is quiet but it doesn’t seem to cool as efficiently as other, noisier units. It is fine in my bedroom, but it isn’t strong enough to cool off a large room.

This unit is great for a small room (10 × 10) and no larger. It runs very quietly, but at the same time does not have tremendous air velocity. It does look sleek installed with Lucite on the side instead of the accordion fillers.

Very impressed with this ac. Works well, whisper quiet... great unit. Only criticism is it's a bit large/heavy. Otherwise a++!

Very quiet and powerful enough for our needs

The unit never produced cold air. We installed it, left it on for 3 hrs and then called the customer service number after it failed to cool an 8' x 10' room. They told us to keep it running for 5-8 hrs so that it warms up and adjusts to the demand - that is ridiculous but we did it. Still nothing. I'm in the process of returning it.
