Ordered this from greatofferstock.com as they had the best price and it arrived in less than a week. Great job by Champion as the generator was well packaged and protected. This is my second Champion generator and my experience with the first one is very favorable. I added 10W-30 oil as directed and about one gallon of 9 month old gasoline that was initially treated with a fuel stabilizer. The generator fired right up and I put different size loads on it (600, 900, 1500 watts) as was suggested for the initial 5 hour break in period. I had no problems restarting the generator after shutting it down. I tried all three methods of starting the generator, remote, electric push button and manual pull and they all worked fine. The battery recharges itself when the generator is running, but when it is stored for long periods of time without using it, Champion has included a plug in "smart" charger. Nice touch! After the 5 hour break in period, I changed oil as recommended. Break in oil was very clean! After break in period, I hooked up generator to my 2012 travel trailer with a 13,500 btu Dometic AC unit and it started & ran the AC almost effortlessly, drawing 11 amps & maintaining 125 volts. I bet it would run my trailers microwave at the same time! Should have tried it! Great gen set!
