I have owned my Big Easy Oil-Less Turkey Fryer for about three years now. It is one of the best ways to cook meats (especially Turkeys) I have found. This product really works! Cooking the Turkey in the Big Easy not only frees-up kitchen and oven space when preparing big meals, it absolutely makes amazingly moist Turkeys. In addition to the bird having moist meat, the skin is very crisp and a beautiful deep golden brown. The cooker catches all of the drippings from the bird in its grease tray so you have them available for making gravy. The cooker also does a great job on roasts (I am usually cooking Bison Roasts), Pork cuts of all types and chickens (will do at least 2 chickens at a time). Lean meats like Bison and some Pork cuts turn out moist since you are cooking with infrared heat and not dry oven heat. One thing you should know...the meat basket that came with the unit can cook up to a 20 lb. Turkey (even though the instructions say the maximum bird size is 16 pounds); however, the standard meat basket can make it somewhat difficult to get the bird out when it is done. CharBroil made a remedy for this by selling an optional basket with a hinged door to make removing the bird much easier...really works! However, for some reason CharBroil made this hinged-door basked a little smaller that the basket that came with the cooker and with this basket, absolutely the largest bird that will fit in it is 16 lbs. (a little frustrating since I always want to cook a 20 lb. bird if I am going to all of the trouble of cooking a turkey). CharBroil makes various accessories for the cooker like shelves for the basket (so you can cook veggies at the same time) and a cover to keep the cooker dust free during storage....I have purchased most of the accessories and they all work well. Further the cooker is portable enough you can move it around the patio for the cooking location of your choice...or in cold or windy weather (I live in the Colorado mountains at 8000 feet in elevation) even in the garage with the vehicles removed. Finally...this cooker is faster than the oven...I cook a 16 lb. turkey in 2 & !/2 hours in the cooker due to the infrared cooking process verses 4 hours in the oven....and the bird doesn't require any basting to get that crisp, deep golden brown skin. I don't write many product reviews, but this is one OUTSTANDING product...I can highly recommend it!!!
