Wowza, this is sensuously lovely dinnerware. Simple spaghetti to a formal dinner the food plays second fiddle to the eye candy that is this set. I'm so glad I bought two sets. I have no idea what reviews mean that the plates are "heavy." They are normal, nice quality with a heft expected in quality. Heavy? No. My husband is particular about getting his MAN hand into a coffee cup. Lo and behold, he was happily enjoying his 2nd cup of Kona this morning commenting how perfect the cup was as WELL as the soup/cereal bowl sufficient for his Hungry man portion of Cheerios. I have no doubt these plates will Christmas, New Years Eve and Valentines Day, especially well...though they are our new everyday. They passed the dishwasher and microwave test, as well. Color simply smashing.

Dishes stand up well. The large plates are a bit heavy and they are large, so expect that. The salad plates are a perfect size for everything, get extra! I've used them for 3 years now, I have had one cup chip and that was a teenage boy who is pretty rough on dishes... so they hold up well. The Designs are still clear and sharp, I ordered Gabriel Cream and see NO scratches or utencil marks on any after 3 years! Excellent set!!

I enjoy this set of dishes and every time i use it which is every day i still really like it. Well made, prettier than the picture and different. My set was not made in china. always a plus for me. Delivered on time in perfect condition exactly as I ordered.

can't beat the price, not exact to original pattern coloring because I have the REAL set, but its fine for extras during holiday servings

These dishes are absolutely stunning! One plate did arrive damaged and customer service was very accommodating in resolving this issue.

This set may be pink, but it's not fragile. This set is substantial and rich looking. Perfect for setting a large table. The cups hold 11 to 12 oz. and the rest of the pieces are of similar scale. The colors are clear and true to the picture. I love it!

These dishes are lovely. The square shape makes them unique. The colors are perfect. One set arrived quickly and in perfect shape. I hope the second set is located and delivered as ordered.

These are BEAUTIFUL, oversized quality dishware. Everyone who has seen them fell in love.I currently have service for 8 and will increase. The only down side is that while still available, the completer set is difficult to find and does not include salt and pepper shakers.

First, I received this purchase within 2 days of purchase. It came well packaged to prevent any breakage. These beauties are well sized, well made and extremely eye appealing. The color of the leaves are more of a moron/burgundy, not rose as I initially thought, which ended up beautifully matching the patterns on my carpets. This is one amazing buy!!

I guess I was expecting the lavender and burgundy colors to be a little brighter. One of the bowls wasn't glazed correctly on the bottom, but overall its a pretty set.

These dishes are wonderful and I am happy I purchased them. They are excellent quality, wonderfully designed, and classic in looks. They stack perfectly in the cabinet and in the dishwasher for easy loading. The plates are large and hold plenty, the cups are deep and easy to hold with their large handles. The bowls are deep but still easy to eat from. I pondered ordering these dishes for over a year, and am so glad I finally made the plunge. Ordering from Great Offer Stock was easy, the dishes came heavily wrapped in bubble wrap on top of the detailed packaging 222 Fifth did and Great Offer Stock provided a free mailing ticket to donate to Goodwill Industries, which I thought was more than generous. The price for the dishes in Great Offer Stock were the best price in every site I looked which were many and shipping was free which also saved me tons of money.
