I brought this reclining chair to go with a sectional that I purchased from a furniture store, who did not deliver to my area. I had to rent a Uhal truck to pick it up. So 1st, let me say that I was overjoyed that I didn't have to pay for shipping in order to get this chair. Just due to that, this chair is worth buying. The chair was delivered in less than a week. It took 2 months to get the sectional from the store. THEY had to order it. The chair was delivered in one large box. UPS sat it on my door step, so it was there when I got home. It fit through my door easily. Once I opened the box, I saw 2 large pieces. I started to get nervous, but all I had to do was place the back of the chair into the metal railings on side of the seat and hand screw the legs onto the bottom. (Easy Peasy) A 10 year old could have put it together. No tools were needed. The chair sits very well. I love it and my husband loves it. He is stout and I'm an average size women, and it was sturdy enough for him and me to sit in. He claimed the chair as his. The seat was not cushy soft, but it was firm and comfortable. We had thought that it would have been either too small or too bulky, but it turned out to be perfect. It wasn't too small or too big and bulky. The material is a step above a thin polyester. It's about the thickness of the material on a good chair for the dinning room table. It should last about 3-5 years with care. The chair is wide enough to enjoy sitting in it but still narrow enough to fit in a small area. We love it so much, we are expecting another one in a few days.
