This is just lovely; the color is a nice navy blue not to dark and not to bright. Looks great with the blue and white toile quilt I have. The fit on the queen size is spot on for my bed frame. I also paired this with a white eyelet lace bed skirt and blue and white plaid flannel sheets. The velvet upholstery is soft to the touch and arrived uncrushed and without any other marks or lines, as a mater of fact it came with a reusable fiber cover/ sack. I'm using this headboard in a guest room that will only be used a few times a year so I will keep the cover on it to protect it from dust and fading when the room is not in use. It was easy to put to gather, all hardware and the Allen wrench came with it. I just removed the mounting post from the back of the headboard and reattached they as shown on the instruction sheet. Took me about 30 or 40 min to unbox, assemble and attach it to my bed frame. I did it by myself and I'm 55. Tip: don't tighten the bolts on the back of the headboard until you have it attached to the bed frame, this way you can adjust the headboard to the correct height for your mattress.
