Edward Hopper, born 1882 and died 1967, was a printmaker and fine artist inspired by the style of American Realism. Better known for his oil paintings he was still very proficient in other mediums such as etching and water colors.Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.

High quality print, on a rigid, well built frame, with flawless canvas. There are no dents, low spots, or irregularities in the canvas, which was helped by a high quality packing job. Top marks for colors and overall artistic reproduction. Great product!!

So sad, really was looking forward to receiving. Love Hopper, size is great and and colors are good in our Florida home office, but there are creases in the canvas where the wood frame is. Quite noticeable on canvas, ruins the art. Hate returning, will be a hassle, but way to noticeable to let it go.
