Earthwise Cordless 24-volt Lithium Ion 22-inch Hedge Trimmer

I purchased the Earthwise Cordless trimmer to take care of some small and large bushes in my garden. Easy to handle and did the job with no issues. Battery charged up quickly. I wish there was more of a shield for my hand between the handle and the blade, but other than that I am impressed.

First unit had a doa battery but overstock.com stepped up and sent me a replacement quickly. The replacement charged up and worked great. I was able to clear through an over grown hedge quickly and easily only getting stopped up one.

I used it for over an hour and still had some battery life left. It cuts well, is light, and easy to handle. The 'stay-on' button only works when it wants to, and sometimes is hard to shut off. Mostly, I had to hold the trigger down to get the job done.

I purchased this along with some other yard equipment and I was extremely impressed, I have a lot of bushes that had gotten out of control in my back yard and in 10 minutes they were all cut back and I could see my yard out my windows again. Great trimmer for the price hands down! I'm a 32 year old woman and it was very easy for me to use!

These are definitely a great set of clippers, they’re so easy to operate and really not that heavy. I was able to do the entire hedge on one side of my yard and wasn’t even tired from golfing them. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to reduce their work load.

Excellent product. Used for two spring seasons and cut a lot of hedges. It is light weight and easy to manage. Holds a good charge and the battery recharges quickly.

This Hedge Trimmer is very light in weight and easy to operate. I am pleased that this battery operated tool is powerful enough to trim shrubs and bushes with ease.

Worked fine out of the box and a fresh charge... not heavy duty, but better than pulling an cord around of using a gas trimmer. Nice addition to the tool shed.

I bought this to trim my front hedges. The blade cuts really well but the item is heavy and it takes a lot of strength to hold it for any significant time. The battery lasts 30-60 min and than needs to be charged again.

This little gizmo exceeded my expectations. I have used gas powered equipment for years because of the mobility and freedom from the electric outlet. When I was searching for a new hedge trimmer I came upon this Earthwise cordless. I really didn't know yada, yada, yada... The battery has to be charged; that's a given. But after it is charged it holds that charge a long time. The hedge trimmer is quieter than gas. It has more than enough power to cut through any branch that fits into it's cavity. (I have 10 foot tall lorepetellums, wisterias, nandinas, monkey grass, and other ground cover that I need to trim.) It's light weight. And the run time exceeded 1 hour. That's how long I trimmed, and it still had power for more; actually a lot more 'cuz the indicator light said so when I went to recharge the battery. The only problem is that the charging unit has to be stored somewhere. That's not a huge problem, but it isn't a compact unit. It is wires connected to a charging piece, that is connected by more wire to the transformer outlet piece. This charger can be used in every conceivable pattern of, "outlet to charger," but I would have rather had a small box with a short cord. In short, if you need a hedge trimmer for around the home, get this one.
