THE EARTHWISE HAS PROVEN TO BE THE BEST GRASS TRIMMER I HAVE USED IN MY 70 PLUS YEARS. THOUGH IT IS VERY LIGHT, IT HAS ALL THE POWER IT NEEDS FOR NORMAL GRASSES AND SMALL WEEDS. IN THAT THE DESIGNING ENGINEERS WERE SMART ENOUGH TO PLACE THE POWER UNIT ON THE BOTTOM OF THE UNIT, HANDLING IS VERY EASY AND MOST IMPORTANT THERE ARE NO LINKAGES TO WEAR OUT AND/OR REQUIRE EXTRA MAINTENANCE. IN SHORT, A GREAT LITTLE UNIT FOR THE AVERAGE HOME LAWN.

But I don't know if is because I haven't use one before
