DuraBed Queen-size Heavy Duty Steel Foundation & Frame-in-One Mattress Support System Platform Bed F

I bought this bed frame because I move a lot. It folds and stores compactly. Sets up easily and is not too heavy since it is in two pieces. I bought it in 2010 and don't remember any issues with squeaking until perhaps the last 2 years. There are times -as someone else put it "of more vigorous use"- where we think the legs are going to fold. The squeaking has become so bad that I am taking it down and switching to a regular frame. I might try to use the pieces separated with some cushions on them for day couches. I think they are a good choice for someone that moves a lot or maybe wants to have a quick guest bed (put an air mattress or some folding foam pads on top).

I've had this frame fro over five years now and I've had absolutely no problem with it. No squeaks, no bending. I would highly recommend this frame.

We bought this to convert an antique full size bed to a queen. We had to buy an additional bracket for the footboard because I neglected to notice it only came with two. We ended up having to buy 4 convertor adapters in addition to attach the foundation because the bed had bear claw hooks. We added pressed board to the top of the foundation because my husband wanted to but it has worked well it has been in use for 5 months without complaint.

Like it a lot but had to hire handyman to set it up. Love the 2 lg. Storage boxes, but had to buy (movers) to make it easier to pull out & push back in.Purchased @ WM.

It just about sets itself up! Super easy, and I attached a headboard all by myself with the "tools" included. Plenty of storage space below, too. I did not purchase the storage boxes that were available, but kinda wish I had, now.

This is my third durabed from O'stock, and I have to say that they all have made my life much easier. Easy to put together; easy to fold up. They are heavy, but I managed to carry it all up a flight of stairs in two trips. I can't really think of any negative with this. Also, great storage capacity underneath.

I purchased this with a memory foam mattress and can honestly say that this was money well spent.

Easy to set up. Exactly what it looks like. I put mattress right on top with no box spring and I like it.

I like the idea of this bed frame. I paired it with a headboard. It looks great. However, being OCD as I am, I am not exactly impressed with the spacing between the top and bottom rails as I had to leave the upper bolted part loser than the bottom bolted piece just to be able to screw in the queen headboard. I did tighten them with pliers and it seems to hold sturdy. The height is just right without a box spring. I have a pillow top mattress. The storage space underneath is a life saver for a house that is lacking much cabinet space. Be sure and extend the legs out fully, as far as they will go for maximum stability. To close, pinch both sliding rails together. Once it clicks, it is ready to be folded back up. Also, another tip, that is how I was able to tighten the bolts and gave me more room to work.

I added a pretty headboard to it with the attachments and it looks like a luxury bed. Solid and just beautiful.

The bed frame arrived promptly and in perfect condition. It is quite sturdy. I weigh over 200 lb, but that will be our little secret. Since I am not in an intimate relationship, I cannot comment on how well it holds up when used for adult activities. My adult activities are sleeping and reading; usually not at the same time. Occasionally my granddaughter spends the night. I was going to put a bed skirt on it but it looks nice without one. I have a lot of stuff stored under the bed. Measure your tubs. Some of mine are too tall to fit under the frame. The bed is a perfect height for me though. Not too high or too low. My son said it was super easy to put together. He said he mainly unfolded it. No box springs. I put the mattress directly on the frame. Since I live in an apartment, it will be easy to take it with me if I move. I have had it for 6 months and am very happy with it. I would encourage others to buy it.

I purchased this frame many years ago after moving into an old house with a narrow/steep staircase that made it impossible to get my queen size boxspring up to my 2nd floor bedroom. It's already assembled and takes mere minutes to set-up and secure. The build quality is good and has never given me issues, not even a squeak! As an added bonus, it gave me some under-bed storage that I didn't have before with my previous bed frame. I've since upgraded to a king bed but have kept this frame around for a future guest room. It folds flat and takes up minimal storage space.

Light and easy to move. Excellent quality for the price. Only reason I don't rate it 5 stars is because it can be squeaky.
