Definitely white slipcovers. They are a heavy cotton twill over a sturdy black foam chair with good back support. The slipcovers have a white cording around seat and skirt, which is a nice touch. Minor flaws for me - the slipcover is wrinkled at the bottom and doesn't hit the floor showing part of the chair leg. The chair legs are a finished faux wood, so not that bad. Maybe in time the slipcovers will hit lower on the legs once the fabric relaxes. For those that are 5'4" and shorter, my feet do not touch the floor when I sit in these chairs, making them a bit uncomfortable. Something to consider if these will be your only dining chairs.
