Solid desk, easy install.
All pieces and hardware were packed neatly in the box. Simple step-by-step instructions were easy to follow. My 13 y.o. son and I put it together in about an hour with a break for dinner. Use your own screwdrivers and wrenches for an easier time with this. Lots of parts, so while its by no means difficult, it is repetitive. Once it's together, you measure twice, drill once, and hang the steel mounting bracket to your wall studs. Any inexpensive stud finder and bubble or laser level *** makes this easy. A power drill makes sinking the wall stud screws easier, too.
Once the bracket is up, hang the desk on it and you're done.
We used two pieces of 3M extreme double sided tape to pad and stick the lower part of the desk where it rests against the wall to ward off any movement and give it a more solid feel.
It's not finished wood. It's melamine/vinyl over MDF, and even particle board, but looks good and is sturdy. Saves floor space and should easily last the five or so years we need.
