Make sure you follow the directions! This is KEY to getting the the best results! The booklet recommends leaving it in the freezer (before you start) and I agree. Also, don't let the tub sit out while mixing your ingredients. Keep it in the freezer until the last possible moment and then pour in your mixture. I used substitute ingredients (protein shake mix, instead of cream, Truvia, instead of sugar, and almond milk, instead of whole milk), so my ice cream isn't as creamy as I would have liked. I haven't given up on getting it right. It tastes okay, but it doesn't scoop as easily as I want. Never the less, this is a good maker.

This ice cream maker works really well. I have only made sorbet since I am allergic to dairy, but every recipe I've tried comes out tasting great. The consistency right out of the machine is very good. No need to put it into the freezer for additional hardening. Great product!

I love ice cream, and I love this little machine. It's very easy to use! Make sure to put the paddle in, the plastic cover on and turn on the machine before you pour your ice cream in.

This is a simple to use homemade ice cream maker. Be sure to have the cylinder fully frozen before putting your ice cream mixture in, I recommend to have it in the freezer overnight. I've decided to leave mine in the freezer all the time and then it's ready when I need it. Enjoy!

I need 2 or 3 more bowls for the freezer part so that when there is a large crowd here, we can make lots at once but for a family of 4, you will get a serving each! AND you can create to your hearts content!
