Bought this for my daughter. She absolutely loves it.
Read MoreAn excellent product cook foodwell.
Read MoreI hope I can get my money back for this as the 2nd time I used it, the enamel cracked off into the cauliflower i was roasting. I was using a wooden spoon and there is no reason why this should have cracked. I am going to have to throw away the leftover cauliflower as the enamel is probably in there. Fortunately, my family did not get any enamel in their cauliflower mash.
Read Moreit was hard to find a size like this, but once i found it ,it's been great!
Read MoreThey were always too expensive. But when I found this one, it was the right fit. It's a bit heavy but I love it.
Read Morecooks very nicely. but very heavy
Read Moregood quality and good price
Read MoreMy dutch oven is round, not oval as in description. It is 12" round (with a slight slant inward to the bottom) and about 5.25" high (7qt. size). Shape was not crucial for me but if it is to you, I would verify. Durability is yet to be determined but initial impression is that quality is good. Finish is very shiny all over with black exterior, off-white interior. Mine had an insert that said it was not dishwasher safe and recommended only wood/plastic tools be used. Again, not an issue for me.
Read MoreWhen heated, the bottom is slightly warped.
Read Moreinside discolored a bit when I made a tomato based sauce, but cooks well and very evenly.
Read MoreFirst, I had a good customer experience with greatofferstock.com and found the item to be as described. This was my first experience with porcelain-covered (porcelain bonded to) cast iron and it seems good so far. The effect is like using glass cookware except that the cast iron core makes the process of heating up take longer and it retains heat longer after the burner is turned off. This seems to be true very much relative to glass cookware and it's even noticeably the case relative to oil-seasoned cast iron. Note that 10-inch Dutch oven may seen restrictively small if one has gotten used to a larger one, as was the case with me. But in practical terms, it is still big enough for preparing meals for one or two people, as is suggested in the item description. I believe that one ought to be more careful or heating the item too rapidly to avoid cracking the porcelain; I haven't done research to learn whether this is a genuine concern. In any case, the only real negative in my experience is that it takes a bit longer to get the cooking process started (bring water to a boil, etc.).
Read MoreIT was the best deal I could find and I would do it again
Read MoreGreat product! Cooks wonderfully and cleans up spotless, no staining of the inside. Very happy.
Read MoreMore than I expected, it was just beautiful
Read MoreLove this product. Black is a hard color to find and the price is great!
Read MoreThis is like having the expensive French version, but without the excessive pricetag. It's my go-to stew pot. Perfectly sized for a one or two person household it's the best purchase of the year for me.
Read MoreThis is a heavy duty, sturdy dutch oven. It is big enough to cook a large meal for the whole family.
Read MoreClem's up so nice. It is heavy. But that is cast iron.
Read MoreLove this product so much I bought the next one up! It is as good as my top-of-the-line French enameled cast iron pot! It is sturdy, heavy, and well made. Also has a chrome thing on the top to lift the lid. It can withstand high oven temps!
Read Morelove it large enough for my big family just watch out it is heavy i like bright colors but dark will work cleans without really scrubing
