I was going to throw my favorite knife away, but after running it through the sharpener, it went from a cheese knife to a lemon ninja!

I bought this knife sharpener as a stocking stuffer for my husband and was surprised and extremely pleased to find it actually works - and works very well. I highly recommend this product.

For a quick swipe and chop unit, this sharpener is OK. However, for seriously dull knives, it's performance is lackluster. I'm going to keep,it, but will continue my search for an affordable, compact sharpener.

This sharpener is small but does and excellent job. It also doesn't take up much space in your kitchen!

I use this daily to sharpen my knives (I am constantly chopping vegetables), and the knives then work like new. Wish I had discovered this earlier. I wet the knife, do five passes on the "coarse" side, then 5 on the "fine" side.

I love that the sharpener has two options- one for more regular sharpening (using porcelain) an one for less frequent, more heavy duty sharpening (metal). It sharpens quickly and is easy to use.

Can't really knock this knife sharpener... it mostly does what it's supposed to do and has not caused any visible damage to my knives (which admittedly, are only mid-range quality). But my old-fashioned, rod-type, sharpening steel seems to work better. More often than not, after I run my knives through this sharpener's two stages, I still end up using my old sharpening rod to put a nice, final edge on them. To each their own I guess!!

It works well, and what more can you ask?

It works really well. I had couple of old knifes that came back to ney life after using this really useful tool. If you want long life for your knifes this is a must have in your kitchen.

All my dull knives are sharp now! This works really great.
