Adorable If you want a bit of whimsy for any room, you could get a Lalanne sheep sculpture for $150,000 or this little guy for $*** and use the rest for a Mercedes or something. Very cute, good quality, easy to put together with a bolt for the head and screw on legs, can be used as an ottoman or side table (the top is flat). Exactly as pictured; great conversation piece (though not much of a conversationalist - kind of tight-lipped, like Wilson).

Love it! This is the cutest ottoman I've ever owned. I purchased it for a vacation rental in the woods, and decided to bring in home because I didn't want guests to destroy it. I pictured kids or inebriated adults riding it and breaking the legs. You can screw the head on a little sideways if you want to give the sheep an inquisitive look. I didn't have any problems with assembly. The head screwed on easy enough. Buy one before it's too late!

Love my new sheep! I was looking for a non-boring, reasonably priced ottoman to use in front of the couch in our living room, and this sheep was god-sent! I just received it, put it together in 10 mins, and am so pleased with my new purchase that I am writing this review right away, with my feet up on it :) It is soft, comfy and just the right height. It's also pretty sturdy to sit on. This ottoman is a perfectly whimsical addition to any interior space, and the price cannot be beat. Highly recommend!

Cute but could be improved Bought this because I've been wanting an ottoman and like an eclectic look, so something a little funky like this works for me. I didn't pay much attention to the measurements and I must admit it's a tad larger than I expected although looking at the photographs now I would say it's pretty accurately represented as about equal or a little higher than standard seat height, I do prefer an inch or two lower, and I have large-scale furniture so definitely be careful with the measurements. Outside of that the reason for the three star review is twofold. Firstly the ottoman has a rather flat hard top (see photo) and not much cushion so when your foot is on it you're feeling the hard piece of wood and it's not very comfortable. Secondly getting the head on is a bit of a nightmare because it must be attached from the inside of the body which is rather tight and you can't see it, have to go by fee with the allen wrench and since the head is just a big pillow, not easy to apply enough pressure to get the screw to grip. Half an hour of wrangling to get that head attached was a bit much although at least once it's on I think it will stay. Also, as a side note, I'm not sure it would be sturdy enough to use as alternative seating even though the height would be perfect for that purpose. Kids ok, adults or old kids, no. Overall it's a cute addition to a room especially if it's not going to be used too much and your expectations are set accordingly.

LOVE! First, I am so glad to see that I am not the only one with a quirky sense of taste! I had assumed most people would buy this for a baby's nursery. I am going to add a tray on top and use it as a side table next to a sectional that has a very low arm at one end. I'm tired of leaning over to get my coffee off the coffee table. It will be nice to just reach to the side. I love a bit of whimsy in each of my rooms. It makes me smile and I hope when people come to my house, it makes them smile!

You could, I'm looking at it now and it is the height of my coffee table but shorter than my end tables. The top is flat and solid you can set a tray on it without fear of falling off. But I would measure to be sure the height is what you want.

It really think it would be too low. Night stands are about 24" high. this is only 17" high.

I had the same question. Now that I have it, yes it is. It really is made quite well. I don't think I'd jump up and down on it, but for an extra seat, yes it will work.
