We love this light for our dining room table. Very good price compared to other brands especially when on sale and using your "Club Great Offer Stock" points. I was a little surprised, but it did take my wife and I roughly 2 hours to install. I would recommend using 2 people. The tricky part is that you have to hang the pendants where you want them-so look at diagram and try to get it right the first time. The little plastic pieces used to help hold the lamp wire are also a little bit of pain to work with. You will probably find you will need to stuff a lot of excess wires up behind the metal part of fixture. You can cut excess and re-splice though if your want. Also for some reason, my metal part of fixture that lamps hang from doesn't fit snug against celing and so it hung a little off. I jury rigged it, but I think the 4 nuts bottom out onto the hanger bolts and maybe the metal shroud isn't thick enough to make it all the way to press against ceiling. Tip to leave plastic on glass pendants is advisable, this protects them while hanging and also to keep your figure prints off them so you don't have to clean them all after installing. It's 8 lamps so we used LED bulbs since this is a highly used fixture. 40 watts for each bulb seems pretty good, although you can mix and match to get desired color temp and lumens you need. Since there is variety in the pendants, it kind of doesnt matter too much if you use different bulbs too, which is nice.
