bought this for the waiting area at our office the office is decorated in mid century modern and its perfect it goes with everything couldnt be happier
I purchased this painting for my living room makeover; however, my walls, being tan, didn't really do justice to the painting. I moved the painting to the adjoining hall between the living room and guest bath. Both rooms are decorated in aquas and neutral tones with pale yellow accents. The white hall wall, with the adjoining aquas and yellows, really made those colors pop in the painting. I used a deep red ceramic candle holder on the bottom shelf of the hall table under the painting to pull in the red bird. Even my husband likes it there. He's not a fan of mid-century, quirky, like I am. I love it. It makes me smile to see it in the hall across the living room from the chair I use.
Very large scale, stark and moody mid century modern painting. Great for my mid century home. Colors more intense than expected. Otherwise fabulous!
The large mirror I had over my sofa fell one morning with a KLUNK...fortunately didn't break and no one was sitting there! But my husband wisely advised to replace it with a painting, so I jumped over here to see what would have. I have a very long sofa, in a long narrow room with low ceilings..,so it had to be a long, slim size. I could not have found a better painting for my mid century modern style! What doesn't show up adequately in the photo are the silver and gold accents which are lovely. The colors in the photo are exact otherwise. Another successful purchase!!
