This night stand has helped me keeps things from getting lost around my bed. I keep all my t.v remote controls and books in the open cubbie. A must buy.

Looks pretty as pictured, deep black and the drawers do pull out smoothly. But it came with 16 pages of illustrated instructions with none of the multiple pieces labeled! It sat in our house in the box for 4 months because it looked so daunting to put together. Finally paid someone to assemble! Only buy if you like that kind of work!

Assembly was a breeze. Of the three units I purchased, this unit was the only one to arrive without at least some shipping damage. I no longer have kids so heavy usage is not a concern. Was expecting black woodgrain but finish is smooth black. Adequate for intended use

These night stands came in a box and I thought it would take a long time to put together. They were not difficult at all, but the first one took a while, the second was a snap!

I bought two of these nightstands and I must say how they look when put together. They are easy to put together and with the cubby hole on the back of the night stand I drilled a hold and put all my cords through it for cell phone and medical alert to charge it at night and there is nothing on the top so it always looks clean when you pass by the bedroom. I think I got a great deal and with the hole I put in it was a great idea. Would buy this again.

We purchased two of these. My 13 year old daughter helped me put them together. My only complaint is that the instruction booklets were not put together in order, so we had to search for the next step each time.

Table does the job but it does seem not very sturdy. The drawers also close very easily so you don't need to push them very hard. I do like the cubby hole at the top.

This is a good quality product for the price. It said laminate which is slightly misleading as it was melamine, but it was easy to put together and works well for a teenagers room

It's not the best quality. Kind of flimsy but it also wasn't expensive so I can't complain that much. Using it as an in between piece of furniture for my son until we buy a nice bedroom set. It is short which works well for my 6 year old.

Love the height and more room for storaging.

Just needed a small night stand/dresser for spare bedroom. This is great. Assembly was easy and looks great.

Took over 2 hours to assemble this piece. You need a hammer, a mallet , a drill, a screw-driver, (instructions don't call for any of that- they say to hand turn. If you hand turn- it does not tighten at all. You also need ALOT of patience to put this together because the parts are not labeled- and you have to guess with a lot of it. Cheap plywood backing and so many pieces it was hard to follow. The drawers still do not fit in the unit properly and they do not roll properly. There were no detailed instructions for anything- you literally have to guess your way to assemble. Not happy with it at all. Would not recommend.

Perfect size nightstand and putting it together was a breeze.

I bought the dresser that matches this night stand. The quality is good, could be better, but for the price, they are great!

I really love it but don't dare set a drink on it for even a second, the top will bubble and peel on the edges of the table.

These are functional and great and a great price. Love them!

just don't like particle board

UPDATE 11/16/2016: I am still using these nightstands, over 5 years later. They've survived a few moves (one corner was damaged in the latest one :( ) - so they've given me no trouble since we built them. If you're smart about what you store, the drawers hold plenty, and again, the cubby is very nice to have. For being what they are, they've held up well. ORIGINAL I got two of these nightstands for my bedroom - I have a tall bed and wanted taller stands so you didn't slide off the bed when reaching for anything. These definitely are the perfect height. I've put together a variety of furniture from here and other places, of varying quality - these stands had potential but some issues as well. One of them was a bit beat up when unpacked, I used the included pen (which was nice) to color in the scrapes - they weren't worth sending back for a new one - I'm too impatient. The drawers on both units sit a little funky. One of the drawers didn't have all the holes properly bored so (as a novice) I improvised with a drill and then a lot of glue. The drawers won't be seeing constant use so I, again, didn't want to wait for replacements. But it was frustrating to get so close to being done but having to do so much just to put it together. I will say I really love the cubby part. I'm a reader so its nice to stow my excess books when I've carried yet another one in to bed. I can get cluttered and this unit helps hide it if nothing else. I also appreciated the option for the bottom of the unit, you can have the higher opening (to the floor) or a lower opening (which is better with my cats) and no piece is wasted - just an interchangeable one that fits in the back of the unit. So in all, I wish they'd been better prepped for assembly but they function as I need them to.

quality is better than I hoped for an online purchase. Arrived on time, assembly was not difficult.
