Summary... 1. Pottery Barn's mirror had weird flaws all over it (tiny holes!), and it cost twice as much. 2. Bombay's didn't have those holes, and I actually like the finish better. And the price! 3. Bombay's installation system is far inferior quality, to the point I'm a little nervous about it hanging up, even right now. I know it won't hold up to an earthquake, that's for sure...... I bought Pottery Barn's entryway mirror, which is almost identical to this one, right down to the dimensions. I figured the quality would be better, and I had a gift card, so the absurd price didn't feel so bad. It had all these weird little holes all over it though, spaced out evenly all around the entire piece. (Picture attached.) I asked for a price adjustment and they wouldn't give it to me, so I returned it and bought this...... No holes, I actually like how it looks better, and [$] instead of [$] (on sale down from [$]!). So it's a win, EXCEPT for 2 things: 1. When installing it, that's when I really felt like I was getting a cheap product. The cleat did not feel firmly screwed into the wall at ALL, unlike the Pottery Barn's, which I'm pretty sure I could have hung an elephant on. I was genuinely surprised when I hung the mirror and it stayed there instead of pulling the cleat right out of the wall. It's only been a few days, I guess we'll see what happens. PB also had much better directions. Bombay's were a joke. 2. Bombay's came with a big scratch (picture attached). I'm gonna see if they'll adjust the price. Then I'll see if I can fill it in with one of those wood markers, I guess....... So basically, if you have extra cash to burn and wall security is more important to you than looks or money, get the Pottery Barn. If you don't like mystery holes and like a little danger in your life, get the Bombay. I'm sticking with the Bombay.
Nice color and quality. Loved this... but I don't think I can use hooks to hang our guests coats. because of the mirror we couldn't put this higher. We chose mirror over hooks...
After reading all the reviews- especially the one that said this piece was not attached to the wall as securely as Pottery Barns- I admit I was skeptical, but, ordered it anyway. Happy that I did! No problems putting it up. It's a solid piece, and, easy to install with 2 people. Feels secure- we have 2 other pieces in our home that attach to the wall in a similar fashion. Looks great, perfect size for our unique entry, and the 3 drawers will hold some of our stuff that we have delegated to the "junk " drawer or the "where should we put these things (keys, gift cards, small tools) so we know where they are?" bowl. We know where our "stuff" is! And, the hooks are holding light jackets, vests, and sweatshirts. Get it! Sturdy, attractive, and we love it!
This entryway mirror has everything I wanted: drawers, hooks, and a shelf. It’s heavy and solid, with a beautiful finish.
This huge beautiful mirror serves not only as a mirror to check out how you look when you leave it also has deep drawers where you can store things that you need handy when running out the door
Very nice piece of wood and mirror
Love it , good wood and perfect to put the key on
Looks lovely in my entry way and it's so nice to have the drawers to hide keys, dog bags, etc. It is very easy to mount to the wall. The books are great for light jackets, leashes, etc. It looks classy and very high quality.
Looks great - just like the one from P- B but less than half the price. It’s heavy so had to make sure to drill the wood piece that it hangs on into a beam. Only complaint is that it just hangs on the lip of that wood piece. Stays in place if not touched but even opening/closing the drawers makes me nervous because it shakes and is not well secured.
This is a high quality piece that could easily be from a pricey national chain. One of our drawers came damaged, but Great Offer Stock quickly replaced it. This looks beautiful in our small entryway and I enjoy putting seasonal decorations on the shelf.
Saw this same item on * for more expensive. Looks absolutely gorgeous and is extremely functional! My entryway would not be the same without it. Don't hesitate, just get it!
I have this in my entryway and it's what i put my keys on. It is just beautiful. Lots of complements. Highly recommend.
Very practical entry/exit piece, with a place for all your stuff. Needs to be mounted high/mirror should be shorter/amature antiquing finish.
I wanted a mirror with hooks for my front entry hall. I found one similar to this product at another store for over $300. I checked Great Offer Stock and was thrilled to come across this product! Not only was the price reasonable, but the product is high quality, beautiful, and comes with hardware and instructions for hanging. I highly recommend this!
I had been wanting this mirror from**** for a very long time. When I went to order it from **** it was sold out and no longer available. I was glad to find almost exact duplicate mirror from Great Offer Stock. I love this mirror and it looks great in the entry way of my beach house.
The description states that the frame material is wood, which isn't true. While a few small pieces are real wood a majority of the frames construction is mdf.
Looks so much more expensive than it was! It’s gorgeous in our foyer.
Found almost the se exact mirror at ******* **** for $$$ more. Love this one!
Gives me exactly the storage space I was looking for in my entryway!
I bought this along with a bench with baskets under it. They matched! I have a little nook in a curving staircase which is perfect for coats, purses, shoes, etc but more narrow than most hall trees are built. With this hanging console and a bench I made my own hall tree. Worked out perfectly.
