Love the pop up action and the even browning on toast and waffles........

I like my toaster for the most part. The toaster toast bread & muffins evenly, but for some reason eggos u have to pop-up & turn half way around to get a good around toast. The toaster is hard to clean. The crumb catcher on the bottom is hard to pull out & put back in. On the top there is a gap between the sliver metal & the black plastic part crumbs get into the gap u have to turn toaster upside down to clean out the crumbs. I rate this toaster a 4.

Black & Decker is the only brand I'll use for toasters, and this one won't disappoint.

I had a two- slice toaster but was so d lighted to get a 4- slice, my my life easier. I can set it and forget it. I haven't burnt any toast since receiving this toaster.

Works as advertised. No concerns since purchase and I use it everyday.

Toasts very evenly and quickly. Looks great in the kitchen as well.

Whats not to like? There are four wide slots, and, for me, it toasts just about anything perfectly and evenly. It does everything I want it to. Especially nice is the "Frozen" selection that allows frozen items to toast much better without burning them.

Works very well!! This replaced a similar one and has great settings.

I am looking forward to a new beginning in the mornings.

NO MATTER WHAT TOAST LEVEL I SET THE TOASTER AT IT EITHER BURNS THE TOAST OR THE TOAST IS HARDLY TOASTED, SO FRUSTRATING.....

Subtracted one star for the very very very short cord. Otherwise its one top toaster. Browns evenly. I set at 3 1/2. On both dials. Has the lift assist after bread is done., some breads are short and need assist in getting bread out. No poking with forks needed. Just don't forget to occasionally empty crumb trays. Its cool to touch in all sides except in top where it has to be open. Also always unplug any toaster. Toasters in general are some cause of house fires. However the spring lift on this toaster seems well made. Others aren't. The.note electronic toasters are the.more a fire hazard since they generate heat. I highly recommend this toaster. Can't stop making toast and.bagels in it.

I would give this a 5 star for the toasting and a 1 for the cord, so averages to 3. Dunno why such a short cord, 4" would make a difference. If the cord came out the back of toaster, would only need another 2". The way constructed, I have to use with controls on the side, not facing me, in order to keep heat away from other counter items. Even the toaster oven has a longer cord.

I love this toaster, exactly what I needed. It is a little too big though.

it might be a great toaster but without using an extenion cord (not recomended) i would have to put it on the floor near an outlet and sit on the floor to use it-----the cord is only about 8inches why they (B&D) would use such a short cord is a mystery i am ready to throw it in the trash or try an extenion cord !!!
