I had to call Sandberg directly, because the directions were inadequate. The help I received allowed me to finish the set up. If you have trouble deciphering the instructions, just google "contact Sandberg Furnature" before trying to jury-rig too much. Make sure you fit the pieces together and lay your mattress on the platform before screwing everything in, as the frame may not be square. I had to buy some longer screws, as the ones provided were not always long enough (specifically, for the spacers.) I did not use the spacers for the headboard, because my cal-King mattress was too short. I also needed to buy a wall anchor, because the headboard was a concern for potentially falling over (one should have been included.)
The material is average. For this price, I expected more wood as opposed to particle board.
The holes for the outlets in the headboard are drilled too small for a three pronged plug to fit through. I will have to drill a larger hole for my plugs to fit.
On the bright side, there is quite a bit of storage, and once I've jury-rigged the issues I have with the frame, it will work for us.
