I was soooo worried buying a bed online, as i have never made a huge/important purchase like this online b4. plus there were no reviews for this particular model, although in general inspire Q seems to have good reviews.
THIS BED IS FANTASTIC! fits the bill for style, comfort and amazing budget price!
it was pretty easy to put together. took my husband and i about an hour all in all, maybe a little less. seems very sturdy/solid having slept on it for a couple of nights now; not a creak or a crack or a whimper.
the color has more blue/dark-grey in it than expected, as the color on my PC monitor depicted more of a taupish-grey; so be aware that it is more of a bluey-grey to med-dark grey. It looks fantastic in our huge master bedroom. i would not put big pillows on it as you might obscure the headboard too much, but we are keeping with a more minimalist approach to the bedding. I have white and navy bedding (African sun by echopark?) on and it looks fantastic with the grey linen. a nice contemporary-to-mod feel.
MY ONLY COMPLAINT, is that a standard box-spring rises above the foot and side panels, thus i needed to put the bed skirt back for the times it peeks out below the duvet. i assumed the box-spring would sit flush with the top of the foot and side rails as seems depicted in the picture. STILL, I would buy this again in a heartbeat! I LOVE IT!
(watch out for the 2 extra long screws in each pack: those are for the feet. we accidentally screwed one into the back of the headboard struts and heard a loud "crack", as we didn't realize there were 2 different size screws. We also had a bunch of left over thick screws, which i'm assuming is for a standalone headboard mount without rails/frame.)
