I bought this set in king size after thinking about it for several weeks. Got it for good price during thanks giving sale. Set looks good. Dresser, and chest pretty much assembled, except for the extremely heavy mirror. The Dresser is also extremely heavy.
The sets seems to be made of MDF (or HDF) feels very heavy. Everything is packed very well. Delivery company at first missed Chest, and delivered it next day. Moving Dresser to upstairs in box was a huge exercise as it is quite heavy (with 3 people).
Moved everything to master bedroom (after removing existing bed) and started assembling. Engineering/Design is well thought out and very good. But I can't say same for some shortcuts they made. The rails for all draws are cheap single plastic roller variety, not usual ball bearing side mount/under mount variety. That felt very cheap on all draws including dresser.
Main issue for me was, missing parts and absolutely no assembly instructions anywhere for the bed. I assembled it by seeing the website images (I am pretty handy as I built own furniture, cabinets etc). Some of hardware was missing. Contacted Great Offer Stock several time, and I could not get any responses for missing hardware for over a month(Still do not have, but at least I am talking to manufacturer and they are planning to send parts). Not sure what happened to usually excellent customer care with this bedroom set. Of course this was during the December, but still it was not an acceptable experience IMHO.
Most furniture, even cheap $20 one has assy instructions and a 1-800 number to call for missing parts. Nothing like that here. To my surprise I was not even given Great Offer Stock over sized item parts department number for more than 2 weeks.
As a longtime customer for Great Offer Stock, this is unusual experience for me at least. I am hoping this is one of isolated cases that fell thru cracks and would not happen again.
Despite shortages, and some items still needs fixing I completed assy for now. I still need to disassemble some parts once I get correct parts and reassemble.
Also thought bed support is pretty good, I am not sure about Euro slats provided for mattress support. They flex too much while sitting on the mattress(lying down seems to spread the weight). It does provide some kind of bouncy feeling as I am on a spring bed. I am used to Captains bed (platform) with pure cotton mattress with solid surface underneath.
Areas of Improvements for manufacturer to take a look at are:
**Replace cheap rails with proper ball bearing rails on the draws.
** Led lighting on the bed side table looks good, but neither is useful for night time lamp as it fall on the face, nor useful as reading lamp as too dim for that. Ideally it should be two brightness settings, with individual turn on setting so it can be used as bed light as well as reading light.
** Provide proper assy instruction preferably with color images of enough resolution. Even the PDF file that is sent over email later is pretty bad, hardly legible.
** Direct number to contact in case of help for assy or missing parts.
Sorry, bedroom deco work is still going on. :)
