Haven't installed it yet, but....
This vanity looks beautiful BUT I haven't fully unwrapped it yet. For now I'm giving it 5 stars because the color of the wood is beautiful and the granite top is top notch! Things to watch out for....1. this vanity is heavy, heavy, heavy (241lbs!), and that's because it's all in one piece! But don't let that discourage you. Do yourself a favor and ASK who the carrier is because my carrier did NOT offer 'White Glove' delivery as OS's delivery description mentions. The Carrier that OS hired delivered curbside only and/or at the foot of your garage, PLUS it comes on a pallet that they leave with you!! I live in a condo, and I have no garage. I have a patio that opens to the general walkway, so with my Uncle's help, we were able to convince the driver to get as close as possible to the (1 step up) patio floor, and he and my Uncle pushed (with all of their might) the vanity onto the patio. The driver was nice enough to take the pallet away. So that news was a BIG YIKES for me. Now you know why I haven't wrapped it yet because it's still sitting on my patio. But I'm ok with that because my bathroom remodel isn't completely done yet....just a few added touch ups. 2. Next up, I have to rent a 2-wheel dolly with step runners. 3. then I need to run down to Home Depot and hire 2 strong guys to haul it upstairs to my master bathroom. ----- So all in all, if you buy this beautiful vanity (I still have no regrets), do yourself a favor and make sure the 'FREE' carrier is someone who will accommodate a 'white glove' delivery (which I would have gladly paid the extra money for!!).
As a side note, since this does not come with a faucet, you will need to purchase one. No problem, right. Well pay attention to the faucet 'reach'. My girlfriend has a gorgeous bronze goose neck, so she warned me ahead of time that hers did not have enough 'reach' to the middle of the sink, hers was too close to the back end and she gets a lot of splashing to the back wall. So I was very grateful for her advice...and I thought I'd pass that along to you.
I will update this post once the vanity and faucet is installed. I have a feeling that the back end isn't going to match up precisely to the existing pipes in my bathroom, which means I'll need to cut into the back of the vanity. To be continued . . .
