Fair to average - just not great . . .
I ordered this months ago because it was on sale and there were excellent promotions. Plus, the reviews raved about the quality of the product. I'm only now getting to see it whole, as my contractor is attempting to install it in my newly rennovated master bathroom.
UPS Freight delivered the vanity and really gave me a hard time when I went to inspect the packages for damages. (The product is delivered on a palette, and has 3 separate boxes - one for the vanity base, one for the mirror and one for the vanity top. The sink basins, drains, faucet, feet and related hardware are all packaged separately, and stored inside the vanity base.) The driver told me that I would have to go ahead and schedule a separate pickup to return the item if I decided there were damamges. He thought that the scratches I found weren't caused by shipping, etc. He also came alone, and so I helped him push the palette up my driveway and into my garage. The item got to me in a couple of weeks, so it wasn't a long wait at all.
Yes, the vanity base has deep scratches that look to have been "fixed" by the manufacturer. There's no mistaking they're there, and that they are well camouflaged.
Add to this that the granite countertop (faux marble) came in poor shape. It's not cracked in half or anything, but it's not at all top of the line, or even "good." I'd give it "fair," at best. It's definitely 2 pieces of granite, and not one. The right side is marred up pretty badly, but luckily for me this side will butt up against the wall. I don't know why the granite looks so bad, but I would really consider how important a quality, crisp, sleek-looking countertop is to you before purchasing this vanity.
Today the vanity is being installed, and I'm not overly enthusiastic about what's going on. First, the plumber is having to move my plumbing to accommodate the vanity. If they don't move the plumbing, they'll have to remove about 5 inches from the back of the vanity on one side. The plumbing for the second sink would face directly at the set of drawers if it's not moved, making either the plumbing or the drawers inoperable. Is this Great Offer Stock.com's fault or the manufacturer's fault ... no. But it's worth noting the issues because my house isn't even 20 years old and standard sized vanities don't square up with the plumbing the builder installed. Maybe it's my ignorance for not anticipating the issue.
As other reviewers have noted, the finish on the drawer pulls is brushed nickel, while the faucets are chrome. The feet and drain are also chrome.
For the price, I think I just broke even, since I'm paying to have my plumbing moved. I wish I was thrilled with the purchase, and I'm not - at all. Just okay - for a grade of "C" if I were a teacher grading a paper.
