I ordered these tiles for my bathroom ceiling to replace 1x1 foot squares. I had a grid - I taped the squares to the ceiling with double-sided tape and then stapled where there was overlap and the staples were covered. Cut around the light and a section of pipe easily. Looks 100 times better than the previous material - beautiful!
These drop ceiling tiles were very easy to install! I am not very good at DIY projects, but this was so easy, I was able to install 86 tiles all by myself, including one vent & 4 can light cut outs. Highly recommend!!!
These tile are not even 2x2 even with the tab they are 23 3/4 x 23 3/4 which I had a square room so I am going to have to configure a trim as I was 2 inches short to my wall. The product look great but now a hassle for the trim
We renovated our Living Room by taking a wall down between a bedroom and the living room. The ceiling had a special finish that we could not duplicate. The tiles covered up the imperfections left on the ceiling. The tiles looked much better than we expected! They cut easily and were easy to glue and attach to the ceiling. We are very pleased with the outcome! We purchased the aged copper tiles and that’s exactly what they look like, even though they are lightweight plastic.
I really like the tiles. The quality is good and I was able to put up myself. I used mounting tape and adhesive , as suggested by one of the reviews I read and it worked out fine. The tiles added a modern update to my small bathroom. I would recommend as an upgrade from the popcorn ceiling. Love these tiles. I will order again when I remodel my hall bathroom.
Just did an entire renovation of my homes first floor. Ceiling tiles used in kitchen. glued to ceiling. The product is actually 1/4 inches thick when the molded portions are considered. FYI the color is only applied to the front side , so I had to make a lattice system to simulate a T-track to hide the white color where the tiles joined, otherwise a great purchase at a FANTASTIC price. I would buy and use again.
I ordered 230 of these ceiling tiles for my restaurant remodel project. First, the good: they look great, are easy to work with and cut. Now the bad: out of 230 I purchased, all but about 60 were damaged/broken on the corners. This is probably for two reasons: the seller needs better packaging, especially on the corners. Second reason (out of the seller control), the shipping company (**) was completely inept and the delivery dates were pushed back 3 times. I think the delivery was moved so much that they took unnecessary abuse. Very disappointed that I had to glue most of the corners back into the tiles as they were put on the ceiling. This doubled the time it took to do the job.
Not what I wanted but is exactly what it said . Pay attention to the size squares per foot. For 6" squares is 4 per foot
Absolutely love these tiles..gives a distinctive classy style..we finished our basement into a hangout room for grandchildren..wanted something better looking than the normal basement ceiling tiles..achieved with these tiles..easy to install and trim as needed
Not totally understanding while plastic ceiling tiles are quite so costly but these are gorgeous. I believe I'll be able to do a small portion in my closet as well as my bathroom. Easy enough to paint for for the themes in each room i bought white and theyre satin appearing so should take media well. I Love the design of these. 20 for 144 bucks
I bought these to use on a wall, not the ceiling, and I'm painting them so it won't matter if they are plastic or metal. If they were going to be up on the ceiling, I think they could pass for metal without painting. These are flexible plastic, not the Styrofoam, so they are much sturdier.
Had a badly damaged plaster ceiling in a 100 year old home. I hoped these ceiling tiles would solve my problem inexpensively and without the mess of new sheet rock. Basilica ceiling tiles did the trick. They look better than expected and we were able to put the room back together the next day. Hasn't been long but they are holding up well.
Used this tile in a basement bathroom ceiling reno. The tiles glued easily onto the existing ceiling tiles and they were easy to spray paint our color of choice.
I immeadiately fell in love with this tile when I first discovered it on Overstock! As I consider myself somewhat thrifty, I thought these tiles were way out of my budget and probably somewhat overpriced. However, the more I studied these amazing tiles, I began to notice a rich thread of black and gold delicately playing inside the deep shades of vibrant crimson almost as of God himself, had been artfully doodling with golden rays of sunshine atop an ever so freely gifted gleefully picturesque sunset at the finest Mexican beach in the Gulf! After an agonizing week of cognizant dissonance, I finally released my doubts and inhibitions concerning my upcoming purchase. I quickly arrived at the conclusion that I not only needed these handsome tile, but that I deserved them, had earned them and must aquire them no matter the costs. I anxiously awaited the arrival of my new discovered treasure with nervous anticipation. A week passed until I finally received my package. They are so incredibly beautiful. I wanted to wrap them back up in t&e safest package and save them for an extra special surprise! And that is exactly what I have done! Check back soon for a picture or two as soon I decide where these prizes will rest....
We are in the process of installing the ceiling. It is going very well - just measure twice and cut once! Using lots of adhesive too! Our ceiling is 11’ up - and it looks like a legit tin ceiling from the ground!
Easy to install and great addition to our bathroom ceiling. Just use some mounting tape and some liquid nails and youre done. Made our bathroom complete.
Items arrived in perfect shape, and were as described. They went up easily with acustigum and locktite and are quite sturdy when handling. Care and hand strength are required when cutting as the PVC will crack in the relief areas and you will need heavy duty scissors/shears; a snapblade knife won't do the trick.
These tiles were exactly what we needed to cover an uneven ceiling. Tiles were easy to trim with a sissor and they adhered easily - we used Loctite. It looks great and was a great buy too. A winner all around.
Completely changed the look of our ceiling! We didn't even remove the old ceiling tile, just put these beneath them. Easy peasy, because they are so light.
Made my old drop ceiling look so much better. Didn’t even take the old tile does. I just lifted the old tile and placed this underneath. Very pleased with how it looks. Easy to cut to size as well.
