Whoever said he put this thing together in 13 minutes is either a liar or a genius, because the instructions were IMPOSSIBLE to follow (wish could scan and post them here because they actually make us laugh out lough when we saw them; just one picture of the finished card with about fifty arrows with numbers corresponding to parts of the cart).
Beyond my limited patience/capacity, I got two male friends to put it together, which they eventually managed after a couple of hours that included having to take apart what they'd already put together as the instructions were so complicated and hard to understand that there was no indication of what was supposed to be attached 'first' (let alone fifty-first!)
BUT, the good news is that now it's assembled, it is GORGEOUS. Sturdy, elegant, and a real talking piece. I love it. But if you're by yourself an not good at assembling complicated things....beware. ALSO, it definitely needs TWO people to assemble it, as one has to hold the glass parts straight up whilst another screws stuff into them. It really would be impossible to do it alone.
That understood....I do love it.
