I received the daybed in excellent condition with no damage from shipping. All parts were included and the paint had no flaws. The instructions were easy to follow, though in some parts I had to think about it first. Some of the bolts went into the holes with difficulty. The holes were aligned properly, it just seemed like the threading wasn't right but eventually I got them in. There are what I believe to be blobs of solder where the metal bars are connected which is to be expected, but some of the soldering was done on one side of the metal and some on the other so you don't have an entirely smooth side facing the same direction. The slats, though many, were easy to install but four of the plastic clips used to hold them in place broke (a small piece that protrudes from the back side broke off). so they are a bit loose but I don't believe it will affect the slats staying in place. I put the bed together when I could find time over the course of about 4 days and estimate it took me 1.5-2 hours. I was able to do it alone, without the help of a second person. I bought twin mattresses from greatofferstock.com as well and so far everything looks great and feels good.

Nice looking bed but horrible to make! The sheets get stuck in the scroll work. I had to buy another bed and put this in spare room. If you are 70 don't purchase it .

We are using this bed in our guest room. It's well made and sturdy, for this price point. I would definitely recommend- just make sure you have someone handy to put together as many pieces are involved- it took approximately 2 hours to assemble. Looks great!

This bed came exactly as described and went together very easy. She loves it and so do I!

The bed looks good and feels sturdy - my daughter loves it! Only downside is that it took about 2 hours to assemble because there are so many little pieces to attach together for the support rails. These are not visible, so it would seem they could design something more solid and easier to put together!

I haven't put it together yet, but doesn't seem to be in too many pieces so hopefully it will be easy to assemble

Sturdy wgen put together, great lil addition for stay over guests. Like the trundle not attatched, can move it to other rooms if need be. Looks nice :)

I had someone else put this together, but can't comment on how hard that was. But it is very attractive and serves a great purpose for sleeping for two in a small space. Would definitely recommend.

When we first opened the box and saw all the pieces we were skeptical. We read the directions and counted all the pieces which were all there. My husband and I put the daybed and trundle together in about 2 hours. All of the screws fit well and all holes lined up. Final product very sturdy and nice looking. We are using in guest room.
