Read MoreWe did a DIY renovation in our kitchen on a tight budget and did all except the backsplash. We wanted a metal backsplash of some type to coordinate with new appliances and wanted a professional to install the backsplash because of grouting, etc., but the costs went beyond our budget so I decided to do an this job myself. I researched the Internet looking for peel & stick tiles so I did not have to grout anything and always came back to the Aspect products during my search. So, I luckily found the 4x4 tiles on Great Offer Stock at a super price and bought them. Our old backsplash was made from 16x16 ceramic floor tiles -- old homeowner did this, ugh!! -- and we hated them. Aspect instructions said the peel & stick tiles could be placed over those tiles once the surface has been cleaned thoroughly. Installation was very easy for the major portion of project. However, cutting pieces took a lot of patience as we had some unexpected cuts to make due to the old tiles and under counter fluor lights that we could not remove. It also was a little tricky as we did not have the proper tools to cut with (only used miter saw and Dremmil tool), but we figured it all out by trial & error .... we recommend a circular saw if you are lucky to have one. The Aspect Trim Edgings, which we bought elsewhere, did not go as smoothly to put on. Because of the thickness of the old tiles, we had large gaps between the wall and back of the Aspect trim with the sticky surface that is supposed to stick to the wall; it would not touch the wall (NOTE: The trim edging is made to fit the edges of the Aspect tiles only and not deep enough to fit over additional tiles). I got around this problem by filling in my large gaps with hot glue in order to hold the tiles in place being careful not to get on the front of the Trim, and then filled the remaining space with wall spackle making a smooth edge behind the trim. This weird process took a while, but it remedied that issue. Regardless of any tweaking I had to do in some areas during this project, I definitely recommend the Aspect Peel & Stick Tiles to anyone doing a DIY backsplash. We are very happy with our final results and it coordinates perfectly with our beautiful new appliances. The photo is not so great as we are still renovating away.

Read MoreI'm remodeling my rv and I used these for my backsplash in my kitchen. They look pretty good in the rv, not really sure if I'd put them in my house. And their a little spendy for the quality. I wish that I would have just sprung for some nice mosaic tiles.

Read MoreI used these tiles to spruce up my bathroom before putting my house up for sale. I had an ugly old builder's grade mirror over my sinks, and it was so worn out the edges were starting to rust. I used the tiles to frame the mirror and it turned out great. BTW-- the house sold in 2 days!
