Bought these to use by the firepit. No glass breakage worry. The grownup "sippy cup" even keeps the bugs from flying in your glass at night. The are lightweight. I pair them with boxed wine and have no worries about accidental breakage in the darkness by the fire.

The wine tumbler would be much better around a pool but not great at the beach.

Was the perfect gift for a friend that enjoys a glass of wine in the pool, different colored tops were great so friends can keep track of their own glass.

Haven't used them yet, but love the look. A little disappointed that I didn't receive the white one that I ordered, but instead was set two green ones. Won't bother to send it back, though.

I thought you could put ice in the bottom but it is sealed. However it still will come in handy.
