Pros - was straightforward to put together and looks great, is very tall but not bulky. Cons - there was a dent in the base and some of the bulbs burnt out within a week.

I am very pleased with this lamp. Bought it for my son's 8 foot ceiling living room, which is a liitle dark. This is perfect! Lots of light, easy to set up, works well with modern decor. It looks fine in a smaller room, as long as you realize it is a focal point. He has a sectional, and it fits perfectly behind the corner of the sectional and provides task lighting as well as brightening the room. Dimmer switch a nice feature. I gave four stars because the second day one of the bulbs blew out! Aargh. They are candelabra bulbs, 40 watt. Hopefully not difficult to replace.

This is a very nice contemporary look floor lamp. Due to its height, it fits better to a high ceiling room. And YES, you are able to adjust the arm. Not frequent adjustment, but once or twice is fine.

Love the modern look. Wish I could adjust the arms more but still love how it looks.
