Works for display only! I give it 2 starts because is easy to assemble. You can't sleep on it it makes so much noise it's horrible I do regret buying it but it will be a pain to return it. For a guess room or for staging is perfect but not for a permanent bed.

Good bed for the price So as always, what you see is not always what you get. Although I do like this bed, it was not the color I'd expected it to be. The headboard is more of a dark oatmeal color rather than ivory; the metal parts are bronze with a brown brush-over. And you def need 2 people to put this behemoth together! Get an electric screwdriver... heed this warning. However, I do like the bed and it's a handsome piece - not femme, not masculine, but a good balance. I would recommend it for the price.

Attractive, Poor Quality Bed If you are like me, you saw this beautiful bed for an incredible price. We thought it was worth the risk of buying a bed over the Internet and gave it a shot. It arrived in 3 boxes each containing countless pieces and parts. This bed will take you a LONG time to put together. You will immediately notice how all of the bed parts are made of a cheap, thin metal. This was a red flag, but we were committed to putting our new bed together. After having used it for about 3 months, I can say that I regret the purchase. It is loud anytime there is movement in the bed. The bars are not stable or sturdy. You get what you pay for here. It is cheap and made of cheap materials. It would be a good guest bed that gets looked at more than used.

Nice for the price We had some issues with some of the parts being damaged, Overtock took care of the matter very quickly. The bed is nice, it's not as solid as I would like but it will do. We are using a memory foam mattress also purchased on Great Offer Stock, it does require a box spring. It did take two of us to put it together, it didn't take to long. There are some tools included but if you have your own use them.

Beautiful compromise piece! I wanted a beautiful, ornate canopy for our new master bedroom... and my husband wanted something modern, with clean lines AND and upholstered headboard (like our previous set). After a few months of searching, this was the compromise piece. Delivery was prompt, packaging was sufficient and everything arrived in perfect condition. Assembly took my husband a few hours, with minimal help from me (basically only the canopy pieces). A tip during assembly: leave the plastic cover that's on the headboard on, until after it's all assembled, to protect the light fabric from any dirty fingerprints (ahem, thanks hun). Quality is decent. At this price point, I wasn't expecting anything too superior in quality, and I wasn't dissapointed. The faux finish is nice and believable, the upholstery is cushy and light beige in color, the frame seems solid enough. Don't position it too close to the wall to prevent banging during... well, you know. Haven't experienced any squeaking yet, hopefully it'll stay that way.
