Not Exactly "Non-Slip."
We needed a low-profile pad under a rug "runner" because of door clearance, so I though this would be ideal. It isn't. It's probably better than no pad whatsoever, but not much--I need to adjust both runner and pad at least a few times a day! Perhaps this pad keeps the runner from slipping dangerously, but I wouldn't call it non-slip," at all. We have it on a tile surface, with no furniture on top to anchor--maybe it would be fine if it is used under a full rug with furniture pieces on top. I wouldn't advise using it under a rug or runner in an entryway, that's for sure.

I have tried many of them, all kinds, this one was fabulous! It kept the runner in place 100% of the time in super high traffic areas; plus it gave wonderful cushioning and support to the rug which added a very lux feel to the runner but was easy to move when I had to move it. Plus it did not melt and disintegrate and mark the wood floors underneath it, like so many other rug pads do. This is a high quality multi functional rug pad/rug preserver and i will buy it anytime i buy a rug or runner going forward.

Does not slip around on the floor...actually stays where I put it on my wood floor!!! The area rug I have on top does tend to slide slightly off the pad from heavy, heavy foot traffic...I'm talking 1/2" over a couple of days, nothing major. Probably due to the jute backing on the area rug itself against the felt of the pad. I'm buying another pad for my laundry room rug...I'm tired of chasing that rug across the floor 😉

I am very happy with this pad. It is on LVP wood flooring. It holds the throw rug in place and has not made any marks on the floor. We walk on it every day as it is at the garage door into the house. We have had it for about 3 months.
