A great buy We bought it for our new home. The quality of this ladder bookcase is good. The assembly was easy and took us about 40 minutes. It can display a variety of different items. We love it.

Disappointing and cheaply made I spent a little extra on this bookshelf thinking that it would be worth it. They materials were scratched upon arrival, one self had a drill hole in the front, and one of the screws was warped. Also the color is much darker than the picture. Overall not worth the extra expense.

Extremely pleased While I can't comment on the ease or difficulty of putting these shelves together (I had my handyman do the work), the shelves are beautiful. They are very sturdy and look very good in my den. I would recommend them to anyone looking for space to store books, office supplies, and/or display family pictures.

Very sturdy and looks great! This bookcase is a good quality and is very sturdy. The color is very nice, just like the picture and matches my dark cherry TV stand. In fact it looks so good I just ordered another one. The pieces are very easily scratched or chipped, so make sure to take your time putting it together. I wish the instructions were better, but it wasn't too difficult to put together.

Fancy bookcase I had some aniques I wanted to display and a regular bookcase just wan't fancy enough. This looks beautiful and expensive. There was a deep scratch on one of the shelves, but I didn't notice it until it was 3/4's complete, so check all the pieces first. I wanted to put a few records on it but the shelves were about an inch too short. Luckily, I was able to use the top shelf for that. I also was a little worried about breakables. It doesn't seem to stand as evenly as I had hoped. It's a little wobbley, but nothing has broke yet...

Nice for the price A nice shelf for curios, but I'm not sure I would trust it with a lot of books or heavy items. It was fairly easy to assemble--took me about an hour working alone, and I'm not what you'd call handy. The veneer looks lovely, but it is VERY fragile--I managed to chip and scratch it just in the process of laying the shelf down on a carpeted floor! As long as you're very careful when assembling and moving it, the finished piece is attractive.

Katie Looks great assembled and is very sturdy. I am using it in my bathroom, so I don't have anything too heavy on it. It was missing two pieces, but went to Lowes and got the needed pieces to complete assembly.
