This is a beautiful, glossy picture. Overall, I was impressed even though I wasn't expecting it to be glossy. I was a little dissapointed, however, when I noticed a two inch scratch in the bottom right hand corner. I expected it to be in perfect condition when I got it.
The art looks great. but for some reason whoever is packaging this takes no care on how to do it. they punch staplers through the packaging material right on the frames of these paintings, which results in holes on the frame. these holes are very visible because the frame is black and the holes are white. There are 1-2 staplers at each corner, I had pull out a total of 21 staplers among the three paintings. I ended up have to replace the frames as the holes are just too big a flaw on such a nice painting
This piece is gorgeous and looks exactly as this ad. Highly recommend it and highly recommend overstock! You guys are awesome!
This brought back a painting I did at age 12 which was sold for $25 at a charitable auction in the late 50s! It's in my office and reminds me of the mid-century house I grew up in and enjoy the concept. A little too much silver on the bottom made it glarey so I sanded it very lightly by hand to make it less shiny.
