Adelep7 Excellent quality curtain, the weave is very tight so it looks smooth like an eggshell, but it doesn't look shiny so if you're looking for silky/satiny shiny curtains this won't work for you. They block out most of the light but not 100%, they still do a very good job at blocking out the light though. I bought vanilla, which was more like a light butter color mixed with cream- not quite yellow but not off white just somewhere in between.

Not a black out curtain Love the material of these drapes and are being used on our patio door. However, these are not black out curtains but they do provide some insulation. There are no "thermal" panels behind the sateen material. Will use them but will not buy again.

Simply Beautiful I ordered these in navy and hang them with gold tie backs. They hang gracefully and just look beautiful. I haven't washed them yet so I can't comment on how they wear. I will buy another pair for our dining room.

Texas girl Because of the light color, these do not black out the light like I was expecting. I also ordered these in the navy color and those are true black out curtains.

Great color, fabric Doesn't lie quite as pleated at the bottom as shown in pics or at least I haven't figured out how. Packaging is very nice. Steamed them very well and hung them. Very impressed With the fabric and this is only ivory/vanilla I have been able to find.
