look higher-end from a distance, still look good up close, when handled they are very light which is when you realize it is a lower cost item, but that doesn't bother us...who is going to pick up our lamps ever

If the look is what you want and they are on sale, go for it. Otherwise you're paying a lot of money for plastic lamps.

These looked great in the photo, were exactly what I was looking for and the price was incredible so I ordered quickly. The next day my husband was reading the reviews and read a negative review about them looking cheap and the top "knob" being plastic. I panicked and called Great Offer Stock to try and cancel the order. However, it had already been sent to shipping. My plan was to send back without even opening the box. When they arrived I decided to open the box. There is nothing wrong with these lamps at all. The top maybe plastic, and probably is, but it does not appear plastic. They aren't crystal, however, I would never spent money on a crystal lamp anyway. We have these on our nightstands in our bedroom, they are the perfect fit for the perfect price.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the high quality of these lamps, especially for the relatively low price for two. Not only are they an exceptionally versatile style, but the glass is high quality, the shades are a great ivory, and the height is ideal. In short, they have added the perfect touch to the space. While one of the lamps arrived broken--they are a fairly delicate design--Overstock could not have been more responsive or quicker with replacing the damaged part. I haven't used Great Offer Stock for something like this in the past, but I definitely plan on doing so again in the future. We couldn't be happier!

These lamps are antique looking with a silver/ transparent base. I LOVE the look! Modern yet classic!

I was a little hesitant to buy the lamps based on a couple of prior reviews, but I am really glad I took a chance and bought them. They are simply beautiful. I picked them because they had a refined look that would blend in any setting and wasn't gaudy. The linen lamp shades are a perfect compliment to the style. They arrived with the lamps and did not have any damage from packing (everything was carefully packaged).

My only disappointment is these are not real glass so price is a bit high for plastic lamps. Title is misleading. I'm keeping them because I do like them and although they are plastic not glass I feel that is a safer bet with my cats should one get knocked over. Title should not say glass when they are not glass. Price should be address since they are not real mercury glass. Are a nice tall lamp and give great light.

These are very nice lamps. I liked their height and dramatic shape. Quality seems fine. I use them as bedside lighting.

Arrived with DENTED, DAMAGED lampshade, rendering one of the lamps useless unless new shades are purchased for both lamps to bring back having a PAIR. It is not just a little dent that can be pushed out and hidden.

The packaging was very protective. Everything was wrapped in foam and plastic. Arrived 2 days earlier than expected! Yaaay! I needed lamps that were a bit taller than the ones I had. These are the ones! Perfect height and elegant look in my bedroom. I am very pleased. The price was excellent. I could not have done better. Great Offer Stock came through again!

When these lamps were delivered I only opened the box part way to make sure nothing was broken. From what I could see they are real nice but not top quality. I will write a better review when I unpack them. I bought these for the master bedroom and it still is under remodel.
