Very low to ground. Not comfortable. And hard to open at times.

Struggled a bit when I received it. After learning how it works it is beautiful. I don't know what the other people were saying that it was difficult to adjust the chair, but for me it is actually very easy. All you have to do is move the chair forward to unlock and then you're free to adjust it however you want. You don't need pliers or some other thing other people said they have to use to adjust it. Just a simple move forward to unlock and then Adjust to your liking. Only downside is if you sit down to long it'll get a little bit uncomfortable in your butt but other than that it's a beautiful chair that transform into a bed to. The bed is pretty good too and it does come with the pillow. Comfortable in a chair and a bed. For that I give it a four star.

I would have loved to have given this more stars. Unfortunately I purchased 2 of these for my son's dorm room. They were uncomfortable to sit in and were not easy to convert. The ratchet system was annoying and loud. My son and his roommate gave them back to me, and instead of trying to ship these large items back we put them in our lake house for extra convertible beds when needed. Disappointed to say the least.

This sleeper chair disappoints, unfortunately. It's tricky to open and close, and it doesn't really get fully flat (due to different thicknesses of different parts of the chair). As a chair, it's also not great to sit in. Wouldn't purchase again.

Firm seat, impossible to turn into a bed. I called the customer service line on how, and she said that, because it's new, the spring will be difficult to push. It does not push!!

This is a very comfortable chair and handy to have in a spare room. If you need an extra bed for company this converts easily and quickly.

I purchased this chair/bed for our spare bedroom. I like the compactness of it, but the bed is not very comfortable. There are two metal bars that can be felt when laying flat. Also, the click-clack mechanism is sometimes difficult to engage. It's ok as a chair, or even a chaise, but doesn't live up to my expectations for a guest bed option.
