still love this product; I use it every day and it produces a nice shine while straightening my curly hair.

I really dislike this item I burnt my forehead with the product and doesn't do what it says its surpose to do my hair takes longer

I have medium length and texture hair. Naturally curly and I wear it that way sometimes. For a different look, the InStyler is perfect! The CD that comes with it is a big help too. I had one before which lasted about 10 years til a brush cracked and fell off. Yes, 10 YEARS! Couldn't be upset about that. Very durable. ☺ So happy to find another at Overstock! 👍🏼

Love how it straightens my hair but leaves me with volume. Hair is not pressed; hair is full of body!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. Her complaint was that it only twirles one way. She said the newer ones go both ways which does seem like it would be more practical for using on your own hair. So, I ended up with the product. I use it most days to put a slight bend in my hair and to tame loose file away hair. I don't see that it gives my hair more body like in the demonstrations or ads. Perhaps I'm using it incorrectly. The bottom line is that I like it better than a curling iron.

I'm always on the lookout for new and different styling tools. I'm still getting the hang of the InStyler - it does give a polished salon look as described in the brochure.

First let me say, I did read many reviews and watch many videos before I purchased this product. I have only used it about 4 times since it arrived. I find it very difficult to use with just so-so results. I have long, thick, wavy hair that takes a while to straighten with a flat iron. The only positive I can say was that it did take less time to straighten my hair using it. The negative was I felt like I needed 4 hands to be able to use it as instructed. It was a real workout.

My fine, thin hair seemed unchanged after using the product. I tried it a few times and could never really get the curl that others seemed to be able to produce. It was fine as a straightener, but I already have one of those and don't need something else cluttering up my bathroom. If you don't already have a straightener, or are in the market for a new one, this worked fine. Just not worth the price for something I already have.

It works great and will be even better when I learn to use them

This is the 3rd InStyler I have buy. The 1st one (Original InStyler 1.25"), which by the way, was very expensive where I bought it 2 yrs ago, was a birthday gift for my pregnant daughter (I knew that with a newborn baby, she will need things to make her life easier in the less possible time). After using it the 1st time, she has been so happy with it, that it's the only hair tool that she has used since then. After her satisfaction, since this tool is so expensive everywhere, I decided to research for a better price to buy one for myself . I can't tell you how much I love this gadget! It's so easy to use in the morning when I'm getting ready for work. I used to have curlers, flat iron and curling iron plugged in every morning. Purchased the InStyler after seeing it on tv. I have thick frizzy/curly hair. I've only used it a handful of times. I like that the ends of my hair aren't crisp and dry after using it. It's easier to run my fingers through my hair without it getting caught in tangles. The only downside I have found is that after straightening my hair is any small strands tend to stick straight up. And even putting product in my hair it doesn't help. I didn't have this issue with my Chi. I haven't completely been won over.
