I guess I'm not someone I would consider to be an organic food junkie. Exercise is hard. I like fast food as much as the next person. Nevertheless, when I saw a documentary on food processing, I knew it was time to tweak my diet. I had never heard of a Farmers Market Delivery Service or a CSA before, but this one looked interesting to me. And for a beginner like myself, it did not disappoint.
The idea of driving out to a farm to pick up fruits and vegetables was a little too much for me. Well, the price per share includes delivery straight to your door, so I thought, hey, why not give it a try?
It is so awesome not to drive to the supermarket and deal with parking, or search endlessly for a farm with a limited selection. I couldn't believe the amount of great organic fruits and veggies I received - fresh, and right to my doorstep.. I never had a Dragon Fruit before, but now I'm hooked!
Oh, worried about CSAs that make you pay for 6 months of service up front? This is non contractual! Just pay for the delivery once and if you like it you can re-order whenever you want it. Last but not least, the customer service was great and I received an ample amount of organic Florida produce to cook and juice. I will definitely be ordering again.
