Have one for hiking! Just in case! All the 'prepper' tv shows recommend it!

Since I've got a lot of water 4 water filter/purifiers, I feel I can safely and objectively compare my experience with them in reviewing this For sure, it's a little heavier and bulkier for a Hiker. At it's best, it works great.

Great item. Easy to use. We were able to produce enough water for cooking and drinking during our hunting trip. Good price than local stores.

Made in Switzerland by provider to Swiss Army, this is the water filter you need for camping, travelling to the third world, or for your emergency kit. We used this water filter in Guatemala for 4 months. We used it to give a second filter to our boiled water for our family of 7! It works well but I would recommend it just for personal use as it can be a little slow filtering large amounts of water. We also use it here in America when we go camping and we love it!

Used the filter during a camping trip and was extremely satisfied with how quickly and easily I was able to get safe water with great taste. Small and lightweight, so it packs up very nicely as well.
