Not as described-- no gold side to face out From the description I thought these were mylar blankets with a silver side and a gold side. I use these blankets in my acupuncture office to keep patients warm while the needles are in without putting weight on the needles. The type of blankets describe last a long time and spread out and fold smoothly. What arrived were two cheap crinkly silver space blankets-- the type that don't last very long and make a lot of noise when patients shift around. Very disappointing.

Kept me warm This lightweight emergency blanket kept me warm during camping in the autumn season. I had the blanket wrapped around my sleeping bag in the 40 degree temperature and it maintain Med and reflected all the heat. Although it was not the best for camping, it was definitely useful in maintaing the heat within the sleeping bag at such a low temperature. The only downside of this blanket is that it makes a crinkling noise when moved around.
