this works great, couple issues 1. led lights on front are extremely bright had to cover them up with black tape.2 remote has to be pointed at it so cant hide it and still use it, they really need to have an adjustment for the lights or the ability to turn them off

Just what I needed. I have 4 HDMI units, 3 DVD recorders for OTA recording and a TV and they're all hooked up with an outlet to spare. the remote didn't work at first on this one, but I replaced the dead battery and fumbled with the cheaply made battery holder thinghy and once it was installed, BRIGHTNESS! I mean the power and indicator lights actually light up my room at night and since they are always on when the tv is on, I don't dare look at them directly. Do they really need to be that bright? otherwise ok!

So far so good. It serves the puprose since I don't have but 1 or two HDMI ports on my TV
