I replaced a 5 year old scanner with the Epson 370 and it is amazing. I dont have to crop my photos and the auto color adjustments make my photos better than the original. Very easy to use.
This little unit has a lot to offer for the money. Programming is easy. Just read the instructions. Installing the software to program from your computer makes it easier and faster as everything is viewed as a page. Scanning is fast and the Alpha Tags are a very nice feature. The display and audio are clear too.
I've used the C88 printer series since it replaced the 60 series. the only complaint I have is duty cycle in that when it decides it's done it starts flashing lights and quits. We replace at least one every year due to our printing apparently wearing out the printer page count.
I have an HP printer and have bought only HP toner for it. I've heard good and bad from people who've bought off-brand toners instead, and I use mine for business, so I don't want to take any chances. I'm not sure I really get 1500 pages from a cartridge (who actually counts?)--I might--, but I do always take it out of the machine near the end of its life when I see the print getting too light and rock it back and forth a number of times to more evenly redistribute the contents. That simple action easily buys me another 100 to 150+ copies. The cartridges are rather expensive (and the price varies considerably depending on where you purchase them), so I buy them online in two-packs to save money. All in all, the toner is a good product, and I know I have the real HP behind them should there ever be a concern or a problem.
