I ordered two of these and it took me less then 30 minutes to get it installed. Installation was easy, as long as you are comfortable in drilling a hole in the wall. Setting it up was very easy (a lot easier then my existing programmable thermostat). It has a nice interface that shows how your thermostat is setting your AC and heater to save energy. It has a motion sensor that detects if you are in room and sets it to away based on that or based on your cell's location. Not just that you can claim incentive from your utility company that almost pays up the cost of thermostat.

Loving them
Love the Nest thermostat! We replaced the 2 in our house with Nests and have really liked them. It's been about a month, so can't tell long term savings yet. We installed them ourselves, and it was fairly easy, we were only hung up once when we couldn't figure out if our upstairs system was dual heat. We had a little professional guidance for that. Otherwise, it was simple.

my bill actually increase by using this LOL pretty though. I thought it was something I was doing wrong it just simply easier to leave it on a low temperature and don't allow it to go up and down on its own
